1 Quilt and 2 more rompers

It’s sort of late but I’m just now sitting down in front of my computer to get these few pictures posted.

I’ve had this quilt finished for  a while now (made for a gift, just not delivered yet) but I thought it would be fun to make a little romper to match. Sadly I didn’t have enough of the Spiderman fabric left over from the quilt to make the romper but I did have some other Spiderman fabric so I used that instead.  I made little appliques for the legs.  Even though I didn’t have the exact fabric at least the quilt and the romper follow the same theme.

I also finished the little girls romper that I  cut out  yesterday.  I don’t really like it that much  but hopefully someone will.

Spiderman quilt. Something about the look of this quilt made me think it was more suited for the simple tying technique instead of machine quilting.  I very rarely do that anymore but I think, for this quilt, I made the right choice.

The  ribbon that runs across the front I made using fabric and one of the stitches on my sewing machine. It was an embellishment experiment and I’m not  sure if I like it but it’s going to stay because I don’t want to spend the time taking it off now, it’s just too late. [YAWN]DSCF9373

That’s all for now…………..I’m going to attempt to get some sleep.

Sweet dreams everyone………………
