27 years ago today

Many years have passed and  my heart still aches. I no longer  cry every day but the fierce loss  still lingers along side the tears that impatiently wait to come forth with little prompting.

Memories of you, of us, still color my every waking hour and nightmares of your death still  invade my nights.  

I love you.  I miss you.  I wish you were here.
