Number 6 coming together

I’ve been working on one more hippy leaning Ukulele Lady doll.  The arms and legs are cut out and sewn together waiting to be stuffed. The body  and  head  are cut out and  the hand embroidered face details are completed.  All the clothes are  made including the jacket and boots. I’ve added bead work around the top edge of the boots.  The ukulele is complete also.  All the pieces and parts are done and waiting to be assembled…………..

Why is it all done but not assembled????   I need “gray” no pile fleece for the hair.  Nothing can be sewn together until the hair is sewn on the head. Then and only then can I assemble  and stuff her.  Stuffing always takes a lot of time because once you think you’re done you need to add twice that much again.  It’s amazing how much stuffing the dolls really take, especially the head. She’s coming along though and once I find the  color of fleece I need  it won’t take long to put all the pieces together.

I’m excited to see her all assembled!
