Hi everyone.  I thought I’d take a break and let you know what I’m up to today.

I have a lot of sewing to do so I started early.  I always look forward to every stitch that needs to be taken.  I also have a very large stack of fabric that is waiting to  be cut  to make block kits for future classes. Normally I try to do a little everyday but I’ve been putting it off  because my back has been so uncooperative  lately. It’s still whining and behaving badly but later this afternoon I’m going to try to tackle the stack.  I’ll just limit the time I spend cutting. scissorsHopefully, by limiting the time it won’t upset my  back as much.

Something else that’s on my “list” for today is to work on a few baby items to put in the box for the Women’s Resource Center.  I try to add to it off and on, but  again, because of my back, I haven’t worked on  anything for sad face

that box in over a week and that

makes me sad.

Oh yeah, there’s one last thing before I head back to my sewing room  to get BIZZY:

For everyone that takes part in the Harmon/Eastern Block of the Month Quilting Class here is a picture of the block we will be assembling this Saturday.

Block 22 calico puzzle

and now

Okay enough “break” for me I’ve got to get back to work so until next time

happy quilting
