It’s Saturday 8-9-14

It’s been a long ….sleeping off and on (mostly off) type of night but when the sun is up  it’s time to get bizzy.

I have normal chores to get out of the way plus laundry to do. I usually sew at the same time I do laundry.  Since my sewing room is near my washing machine  it works out well because I can hear when I need to add  the liquid fabric softener.  Otherwise I end up missing the rinse cycle and either have no softener in that load or I have to waste water to run the rinse cycle again. LOL  Oh my, don’t you just love hearing about my  chores and boring laundry routines??  

Regarding what sewing I’m going to do today:

I am going to make a purse ……...

and it’s for me!

I don’t make a lot of things for myself but my purse is YEARS old and is falling apart so I have to do something.  Since purchasing one is not an option and I do have material I will whip one out.  I’ve thought about it numerous times but then I think I’ll wait and work on something more important and  Bizzy Handz related, an order, a sample for class or a new design for later use so the purse doesn’t get made. Today’s the day though. I’ll post pictures later of what I come up with.

I also want to go over my lessons for  upcoming classes just to make sure that I have all the samples I need.  I don’t  have any outstanding orders but I may put a couple of dolls together and list them for sell.  I’m  not sure about that but  I am sure that  I will be “bizzy” all day.  I never have any trouble finding lots and lots to do. 

A REMINDER of sometime I posted on Facebook:

I am thinking that it would be fun to start a simple “random craft class” every month. Each month there would be a different stand along project that can be completed in 2 to 4 hours. The projects would vary to include misc craft types to make Holiday crafts, home crafts, etc. I would post the supplies needed for that month here and on my facebook page. The class would cost $10.00 to cover the cost of renting the meeting place. At this time, it would have to be held  Tue or Thur afternoons or Sat mid day.  Post here and let me know what type of crafts you’d like to see covered and the best time for you to attend a class.  BTW….The class will or will  not be added based on the response I get  so please let me know if you’re interested.
