It’s Friday

I worked on projects for Antonio again today (even though I got a late start due to breathing issues………grrrrrrrrrrrrr wind).

Zippers inserted, hooks and eyes hand sewn on, simple  hems, ruffled hems, fancy trim, horsehair braid and more.

I only took a few pictures today……….sorry……..but here’s what I do have.

Here I was adding blue horsehair braid to hem.  Isn’t that a beautiful shade of blue?

Here I was making some needed  alterations to a bone  hoop petticoat/slip.  After the alterations were made I hand stitched it into the gown.

and here another zipper was waiting to be sewn into the gown.  It didn’t have to wait long——-  🙂

Right now, in my sewing room, I have a huge roll of fabric

and pattern just waiting for me to get started.  I have 21 items that have to be cut out and completed no later than Tuesday, preferably by Monday afternoon.   I still have all my regular classes so it’s is going to be extremely difficult to say the very least and I should start tonight but I have to prepare for the classes that start tomorrow at the Walnut Recreation Center.

I know this is short tonight but I  have a lot to do before bed so……………..from me to YOU……
