a crazy week
It’s been a fun, crazy exhausting week and it’s not over. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were party days at the Neighborhood Recreation Center where I work.
Monday we had a little celebration in my sewing class. Tuesday was a celebration in my card class and Wednesday was the centers Ornament Exchange Party. I played a couple of songs and everyone sang along except during the time when they were following along on their kazoos or jingle bells. What a great group. Everyone joined in and made it a very fun filled time. I let everyone know about the 20 ukuleles that are being donated by KALA ukulele company and about the ukulele group that will be starting in January 2017. There’s already about 7 people interested in joining the group. YIPPEE!
I have posted a few pictures below that were taken over the first 3 days of this week.
(I took many more pictures but sadly most did not come out. I really have to remember to take my camera from now on instead of relying on my phone)
Today I sewed and worked on a few little gifts. I am making sewing room jars to hold “whatever” with pincushion lids. They’re not fancy but cute. Just a little something to say….Merry Christmas-I’m thinking about you.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by so I can share what’s been going on with me. I have lots more to do today so I better get off this computer and get back to my sewing room. Hugs to all and
BY THE WAY:
I want to publicly thank for their generous donation of 20 waterman ukuleles to the Neighborhood Recreation Center. They are a terrific company that donate LOTS of ukuleles throughout the year. If you are thinking about purchasing a Ukulele check out their website (link below) for all the types they have to offer and also , please, take the time to like them on facebook (link below). Thanks so much.
