Another class sample complete
I finished 2 little storage pods. The directions say to use regular batting but after completing one it seemed rather flimsy to me so I decided to make another one using iron on fleece so the pod would be sturdier. I liked it much better so I took the first one apart and remade it using the fleece. I also changed the edge. Instead of making the edge even then top stitching I made a quarter inch contrasting edge by bringing the lining fabric to the front before doing the top stitching. I think it would be cute to use piping around the edge. I may try that another time. They are quick and simple to make plus they don’t take a lot of fabric. Hopefully the class will like them. Now that I’m finished with the sample for class I can get started on the doll I cut out on Wednesday.
I hope your day was blessed……
Until next time….……
