April is …..

NATIONAL SERGER MONTH!

Yep, in addition to April being National Poetry Month, (which I mentioned in an earlier post) it’s also National Serger Month.

I remember so well the day, many years ago that I got mine. I was so excited and couldn’t wait to get it home.  That was 20 plus years ago and  I still use the same one. As a matter of fact, I used it just yesterday while assembling the little pink dress that I posted pictures of last night.  Even though sergers  have many varied uses  there is nothing like the true professional finish that one gives to the seams on fashion wear.  

So……………if you have a serger you’ve never learned to use or if you’ve always   wanted one but felt it would be too difficult to learn to use, do yourself a big favor and don’t wait any longer.   Truly, the most difficult thing about learning to use a serger is getting over the intimidation you feel because it is something new.  Don’t let that stop you, I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT and there’s no better time than today!
