Fridays……
Fridays are my up at dawn and work into the night day. I don’t normally have anything outside of my home to do so I take advantage of the uninterrupted time to work on commissioned projects, samples for my classes and items to sell.
I have finished all but one quilt that I’ve been working on for the Neighborhood Recreation Center. I’m almost finished with the last one right now and plan to have it completed before I go to bed.
Here are a few pictures of the past few items I’ve been BIZZY working on.
These three are still undelivered. The one that’s not folded is now “sandwiched” and in my machine for free motion quilting to be done.
This one I simply stitched in the ditch and then every other block I added another line of stitching.
This one I quilted using a whale design taken off the fabric.
This one I couldn’t decide how to quilt it so I ended up stitching in the ditch and then adding a fun design in every other block.
Now for my students.…………………see why I remind you over and over the check everything before you sew the blocks together. When sewing the blocks together I ended up sewing one on right side facing down-Ekkkkkk. LOL Thankfully it was on the corner of the last row so I didn’t have to take very much out to correct it.
Okay that’s enough “break time’ for me. It’s back to my sewing machine.
Have a wonderful night everyone.
