Happy “National Serger Month”

In addition to April being National Poetry Month, (I love poetry),  it’s also National Serger Month.

I remember so well the day, many years ago that I got mine.  I kept fretting about spending the money.  Should I or shouldn’t I?  My husband finally said…..”Enough babe, just go get it”.  I was so excited and couldn’t wait to get it home. That was over 20 years ago and I still use the same one today though I actually own a couple.  The original is always my “go to” one.  

Even though sergers have many varied uses there is nothing like the true professional finish that one gives to the seams on fashion wear.

So……………if you have a serger you’ve never learned to use or if you’ve always wanted one but felt it would be too difficult to learn to use, do yourself a big favor and don’t wait any longer. Truly, the most difficult thing about learning to use a serger is getting over the intimidation you feel because it is something new. Don’t let that stop you, I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT and there’s no better time than today!
