Let It Snow

Yep……this little guy doesn’t like the hot weather at all.  (Totally understandable)

These two took quite a while but they turned  out pretty cute.  I embroidered the eyes, mouth and buttons on the snowman then had to pick out one of the eyes because it just wasn’t positioned exactly right. It wasn’t bad but I couldn’t live with it so out came my seam ripper and out came all the stitches so I could start over.   The gingerbread man is all hand sewn except the body.  Hand sewing, as much as I enjoy it, does take a lot longer. These toys are for a very young child so I doubled and tripled all the stitches, making sure everything was securely attached. 

All the  time spent was well worth it and now both are complete and ready for their new home.  That’s a good thing because Vegas is not the best place for a snowman!
