Monkey business

I am assembling a monkey for someone special. The pattern I’m using was purchased  from the dolls and daydreams website. 

I was concerned I wouldn’t have enough brown fabric but I not only  had enough there’s even a few scraps left over.  yay!  🙂

Just a face with no body.

The little face is hand embroidered making it baby safe.

Assembled but flat.  The bow is not sewed on yet. I’ll do that later.

She still needs stuffing and a little skirt. Maybe bows here and there.  We’ll see. Normally as I put together a little animal or doll they take on a personality of their on that helps me decide on the details.   I will post pictures once shes all finished.
