Quilting Celebration

Most of you know I teach 5 classes at the Local Rec. Center. Two of them are quilting classes. This month is National Quilting Month so I am having a “celebration” for my students and guests. We’re having LOADS of quilting games including Quilters Bingo with prizes enough for all, numerous displays that include the history of quilting, fun facts about quilting, cartoons about quilting, and a display honoring my students with pictures of them and the work they’ve done in class. Of course there will be all sorts of goodies to eat AND MUSIC! Though most people are unaware of it there are many songs about quilting. It’s been a lot of work and I’m still working but I’m having so much fun. Tuesday’s the day- 6 hours of quilting fun. I wish you could all be there.
