Saturday evening
Well, this day has not been as productive as I would have liked. My printer finally died (it’s been making horrible death sounds for a long while now) and I spent hours trying to revive it.
I use my printer almost daily for my classes, especially the card design class, and off and on for the gift bags I make. Thankfully, I had a some things already printed out so I could put 4 bags together for church tomorrow.
Also, because of not having the printer I had to do more “hand” coloring for a couple of card orders that I was commissioned to make. I enjoy it a lot but it does take much more time and I selfishly wanted to sew more than I was able to today. I’m just now getting ready to start on the purse I wanted to make.
At first I was feeling frustrated but not any more. After stopping and praying I was reminded that the plans and the timing to complete those plans were mine and not necessarily God. I have a tendency to “plan” everything and want control of it all. It’s good for me to be reminded that Rhonda is not in control. It’s an on going lesson for me. 🙁
Right now, with dinner over, I am going to go work on that purse for a while. It may not be done for tomorrow but it will get done eventually. 🙂
Have a great evening everyone.
Big HUGS to all of you!
Rhonda
