Thinking about…

There are 19 weeks left in this year.  (only 19 Ekkkkk!)

I’m thinking about picking a quilt block book, then every week until the end of the year, picking a page at random and piecing that  block.  

Why you ask?   Well, (1) because it would allow me to cover different blocks and techniques here on my blog (2)  It will give me practice (3)  It will make a very interesting quilt (maybe two) when I’m done and  (4) just because it would be fun.

 I think I’ll  pull out some of my quilting books this evening (since I’m taking a little break) and see which one might work best.  It has to have lot’s of blocks and various techniques.    Maybe you’d like to join me?  I could post the one I was going to make that week and then we could compare the blocks.  It’s always interesting to see how different the same block can look when different people piece them.  Let me know if you’d be interested. I think it could be lots of fun.
