Thoughts

While praying and then thinking about the day that stretches out  before me a song came to mind and one sentence from that song screamed out loudly:

“Speak love, and use words if you have to”.     

Such simple words but words that speak volumes reminding me to take the time to be kind in my actions today.

None of us knows what the other person may be going through.  The secert battles being fought, what they may have endured last night, the pain being felt, the loneliness within their heart or the intense fear that grips them as they move though their day.

So, as I celebrate and live out the precious gift of another day given to me by God, I will choose to look into the eyes of all those I  meet and I will smile sincerely.  I will reach out  and  help in any way I can. I will look for ways to lighten their load if only for a moment. I will take the time to listen and when I speak it will be with words  of encouragement.   

My prayer is ….”Oh my Father, please use me this day to be a blessing to others”.
