Tuesday Morning 8-12-14

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a peaceful night.

Today is my senior “Card Design and Assembly” class at the Neighborhood Recreation Center. It is always full and everyone seems to enjoy it. That makes me happy.

After class I have a couple of “have to” errands to take care of but then I get to sew. I received an order for another “baby doll with quilt

so I want to get started right away. Because each little face is hand drawn and then hand embroidered I’m always anxious to see how they are going to turn out. Their little faces help define their personalities.

I am thinking that it would be fun to start a simple “random craft class” every month. Each month there would be a different stand along project that can be completed in 2 to 4 hours. The projects would vary to include misc craft types to make Holiday crafts, home crafts, etc. I would post the supplies needed for that month here and on my facebook page. The class would cost $10.00 to cover the cost of renting the meeting place. At this time, it would have to be held Tue or Thur afternoons or Sat mid day. Post here and let me know what type of crafts you’d like to see covered and the best time for you to attend a class. BTW….The class will or will not be added based on the response I get so please let me know if you’re interested.

To those that did show interest in a monthly craft class–I’m sorry . The response has been so low that I have had to place this class addition on hold for the time being. If things change I will contact you.
