Yes, it’s Monday

I know many people hate Mondays and I understand. They see the entire work week stretching out before them with many days of “work” until they get another day off.  I do understand and I’ve been there but I haven’t looked at Mondays that way in a very long time.

First of all, as  I’ve gotten older, having one more day, Monday or not,  is wonderful.  Seeing another sunrise is a blessing. Secondly, having a job, any job and even if it’s only part time,  doubles that blessing. 

So even if you’re one of those “I Hate Monday’s” people I want to wish you a VERY HAPPY DAY!   I hope its GREAT!

I promised you pictures that  show my  progress as I work on the hexie quilt and  I remembered.  Here are the latest ones.

The number of hexies are growing. This picture was taken on the 7th  so I finished more after this was taken. It actually takes very little to do this part.

Here’s a picture of the very first set of 7 sewn together. Many more are needed.

In the past I made stacks and stacks of the hexies before I started the assembly process but this time I decided to assemble as I go.  Here’s what I have assembled so far.

Well, that’s it for now.  It’s time to get started on a new order.  I had 1 order this morning and now, thank you Lord, I have 2. I am truly thankful.
