You Think It Costs too Much?

I understand how the cost of a handmade item can seem extremely expensive to those that do not sew, quilt crochet etc… but just consider this: If I work 20 hours a week for 2 weeks (40 hours actual time spent on labor) on a crocheted item then charge you $100 (supply and shipping costs being extra) I am only making $2.50 an hour! So……..in the future when you ask about the cost of a handmade item PLEASE BE KIND and remember what the person may be making per hour.
